Basic Bingo Rules
There's not much to the rules of Bingo, and not much knowledge is required to play this game. In simple words, the game of bingo is a very simple game, with very simple rules. The game of bingo can be played by anyone after grasping a few simple points.
The player can simply watch others play bingo, and then that's it, they should be ready to play.
The basic goal in the game of bingo is to call out first among the many participants; the player should simply cover the numbers on their bingo cards, following a specific pattern. The numbers are found on an electronic board that are first called by the caller, each time a number comes out from a bingo roller.
If you are the first player to mark all the specified numbers on your card, you then yell the word "BINGO", this will signify that you have completed the winning series of numbers. If you are lucky enough, you will receive the jackpot prize.
The bingo cards have the letters B, I, N, G and O, across the top. These letters each have a column of numbers below them. These columns have five boxes below each letter, and in the boxes are numbers. The letter "B" has the numbers 1 to 15 below it. The letter "I" has the numbers 16 to 30. And below the letter "N" are the numbers 31 to 45, and in the middle box under the letter "N" is a free space. The letter "G" will have below it the numbers 46 to 60. And last, the letter "O", under which are the numbers 61 to 75.
Marking the cards will require the player to have a blotter or a marker pen. In the good old days, players made use of pieces of corn, or beans (the game was, in fact, first called "Beano"), but these days are long gone.
Players should pay attention to the caller, because They are the ones that will call out the numbers, and if you happen to miss one, you could miss the chance of winning. The caller will never pause for one specific player, and they will never slow down, either. They will read as instructed. The balls are continuously coming out from a rotating barrel, which is operated automatically.
You will also have a chance to chat and converse with your friends or table-mates after games end. More than most, Bingo is a very social game.
